About La French Tech & The Event
La French Tech is a dynamic global network dedicated to propelling French innovation onto the international stage by connecting startups, entrepreneurs, and investors. Here in Poland, this mission is driven by two vibrant hubs: La French Tech Warsaw and La French Tech Krakow. On May 21, 2026, these hubs joined forces at the Venture Café Warsaw (CIC Warsaw) to host the first national-sized edition of French Tech Connect Poland 2026, titled "Tech Frontiers". The event gathered hundreds of attendees from the French and Polish tech ecosystems to explore critical areas like strategic tech, energy, and artificial intelligence.
The highlight of the evening was the Startups & French Tech Connect Awards, which featured a fast-paced Pecha Kucha pitch competition. Judged by a high-level panel of founders, investors, and corporate leaders, we presented our vision in the Deep Tech track.
During our Pecha Kucha presentation in the Deep Tech track, we focused on a burning issue in the market. Today, recruiters spend a staggering 67% of their time on administrative tasks. To make matters worse, since 2022, the number of resumes per job has doubled, reaching 150+ applications per position.
